To advance education in the Arts among children who are socially and economically disadvantaged
Our Mission
As of 2024, over 473 million children live in areas directly affected by conflict, a number which has more than doubled since the end of the Second World War. Forced to experience unthinkable violations, abuses, and hardship, it is almost impossible to begin to understand how their minds have been impacted.
To play our part, the Angela Knowles Young Artists Charity was established in 2025 to support these Children, focusing our efforts on children in War Torn Countries, Failed States, Refugee Camps, or those with ‘Entitled Persons’ status. Through procurement projects and local partnerships, we now strive to provide Arts and Crafts supplies and Educational Support to children in need.
The Arts significantly impact child development, fostering cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Crucially, engaging in art based activities provides a safe space for emotional expression, and helps children of all backgrounds explore their inner worlds.
Procurement Projects
The charities primary Area of Operation includes, but is not limited to, Kenya, Afghanistan, Palestine (West Bank), Lebanon, Ukraine, Sudan, Pakistan, Syria, and the United Kingdom.
Already delivering projects in the West Bank, our approach centres around identifying individuals, communities, or groups which require support. Once these groups are identified, we work directly with local NGOs, Businesses, and Artists to provide an array of arts based supplies for Children to explore.
Our approach is based around one fundamental principle- If we can bring a smile to the face of children under such hardship, our efforts have not been wasted.
